Garden State

Rented a movie tonight, something I'd wanted to see since its trailer's release in June.

Garden State rocked. I have to admit that I'm rather a sentimental type, even for something set in New Jersey. Yeah, I'm a big war movie person, someone who likes a top clandestine thriller, too. But movies like Garden State can get you thinking.

There were several parts in it that were rather predictable, expected, done. There were far more that weren't.

I'll save you from another review on the movie aside from what I've already written. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes watching Zach Braff in Scrubs (best show on television, in my humble opinion).

But it goes deeper than that; deeper than calling your underling by random women's names. Fuck that tugging at your heart strings crap. The movie got to me. I'm not one to worry so much about a flick, either. I mean, who really cares? But this one worked.

"Wow! I cannot believe you're not retarded!"

Yeah, this one worked well.
