Fish Win, Fish Win!!!

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Now I’m happy.

Last week they knocked off the Cubs to continue the curse of the goat on the North Side. It was depressing to watch the Cubbies give up a 3-1 series lead to drop it to the Fish. But like I just said: now I’m happy.

Once the curses continued over both lovable losers, the Florida Marlins had to win it. They just had to.

The thing that drives me to despise the Yankees, and hopefully drove the Fish to beat them, is that the Yanks are thrust down everyone’s throat as “America’s Team.” No one will shove anything in my face and command me to like it.

There just isn’t much else to say.

They won, and I’m happy because of it.
